Project scope: This period house is home to a busy household. The open plan kitchen is where everyone gathers throughout the day, and into the evening. We created separate zones to define spaces for cooking, dining, watching TV or simply relaxing to enjoy the view of the landscaped garden. We designed bespoke joinery to sit within existing alcoves to provide ample storage, and we added lots of natural elements to bring the outside in. To ensure the scheme continued to look good, we used robust fabrics and finishes to cope with daily family life.

We also created a new design scheme for the family's formal sitting room. Keeping the client's much loved blue walls, we introduced a timeless design scheme to creating a warm and inviting space. We added lots of accent pieces, including lighting and created softness with British made fabrics and textiles.
